Since 1990, Stinger is marketleader in speed trap alerting systems. Prior to the ban of radar detectors, in some countries more than 10 years ago,  Stinger already had an alternative: The DSI Computer with its Spectrum Analyzer. This high-tech computer made it possible to warn for speed traps at a longer distance than any radar detectors. It even outperformed Stinger’s own Ventura. The DSI is suitable for countries where radar detection is not allowed due to the possibility to disable the RadarAlarming function.
